“Music is my ultimate form of expression”. Oradea, Romania, is where Kov popped into this world in 1990. He has been grooving to tunes since he was a kid, thanks to his family’s daily dose of ’80s and ’90s classics. But it was love at first sight for electronic music when he heard John Digweed at Kristal Club, a legendary spot in Bucharest where he now regularly plays.
For the past 15 years, Kov has been globetrotting worldwide, jumping from one party to another. Then, in 2019, when he finally had the chance to express himself behind the booth, he realized that “this isn’t just a passion; it’s a whole new level of fun!”. His joyful journey throughout the music and the ultimate research of enjoyment for the crowd is his mission, and he’s able to achieve that with the perfect blend of groovy minimal and house stuff with a pinch of old-school and disco vibes.
Since joining the Take Notes family alongside his buddy and mentor Mahony, Kov has had the chance to perform at some of the most famous venues in Romania and Europe, including the iconic Sunwaves Festival, pursuing his mission of spreading good vibes and making people get loose on the dancefloor.
