Combining his innate passion for hip-hop and underground rap with electronic music, worldwide acclaimed DJ & producer, and now “Take Notes” label owner Mahony has taken the house and minimal scene by storm over the last few years. Romanian by birth – world citizen by choice – as a young gun, he was already a resident of Bucharest’s iconic Kristal Club, serving the world’s top talent with proper eclectic & classy selections. Thus, he gained the street cred required to become a regular mainstay at the ever-popular Sunwaves festival while releasing his music on esteemed labels like Loco Dice’s DESOLAT, Tamango Records, and Mindshake. Strong cultural roots, consistently minimalistic yet varied groovy DJ Sets, and worldwide connections come together to witness the opening of his label Take Notes in 2022 – a haven for proper club music.
Over the last couple of years, Mahony took the lead of the most infamous DJ booths in the world, performing at prominent parties and brands like Space Miami, Solid Grooves at DC10 Ibiza, Music On at Pacha, Paradise and Metamorfosi at Amnesia, Cocoricò Riccione, Cinematinè in Budapest and many more.
